There will be a mandatory, on-stage rehearsal and two performances on Sunday, June 23rd. The rehearsal will run from 9:00am to 1:45pm, with each class having a 30-minute window where they will be required to be at the theatre.
Please note that classes performing in the 6:00pm show will have their on-stage time in the first half of the rehearsal and classes performing in the 3:00pm show will have their on-stage time in the second half of the rehearsal.
Showtimes will be 3:00pm and 6:00pm and will run for approximately 90 minutes with no intermission. Dancers should arrive at the theatre 30 minutes before their showtime with their hair done and costumes in a garment bag.
Please find below the lists of classes performing in each show. All Accelerated Ballet classes will perform in both shows.
Dancers should arrive at the theatre at least 30 minutes prior to their on-stage call time, with their hair done and costumes in a garment bag. The theatre will be available by 8:30am on show day. Please plan accordingly.

Most classes will require one parent volunteer and a few will require two. Parent volunteers will be able to watch their children dance from backstage. The responsibilities of our parent volunteers are as follows:
PRE SHOW:
– ensuring all dancers have arrived and are in the correct backstage changing area
– checking that costumes and footwear are performance ready (drawstrings tucked in, hair pieces securely pinned, straps not twisted, etc).
– making sure everyone has gone to the bathroom. There will be additional staff members on hand to assist with this, as you will not be able to leave your group
ONCE THE SHOW BEGINS:
– keeping your group together and quiet. There will colouring supplies to help pass the time, as well as a live feed from the stage so that they can watch the show if interested.
– Once backstage, all dancers enter from Stage Right and exit Stage Left. This means that while they are performing, you will need to cross over to the other side of the stage to meet them after they dance. There is a crossover at the back of the stage.
– Each dancer will need to be given a medal before they go on stage to bow in the Finale.
POST SHOW:
-bringing your class back to their changing area and not leaving the theatre until everyone in your group has been picked up.
If you are interested in being a parent volunteer on show day, your help would be greatly appreciated. To sign-up as a parent volunteer, please visit your parent portal, add yourself as a student (so we have your name), select the class you wish to volunteer for and then register yourself as you would register your child for a class. Volunteer here!
